A Camden-based choir is raising money to help tackle homelessness through a charity concert.
The London Classical Choir was joined by the London Classical Orchestra and professional soloists to put on a concert of The Creation at St Mary’s Church in Primrose Hill.
This year the group were joined by Isabel Jay Opera Prize winner Elinor Popham, Irish National Opera singer Aidan Atkinson, and ex-associate artist of Welsh National Opera, William Stevens.
All proceeds will be donated to St Mary’s Church cold winter shelter, Streets of London, and Streetwise opera.
Conductor and concert organiser Matthew Watts said: “We chose these fantastic charities as they are smaller and ones we could work more closely with to make a difference.”
The concert can be streamed on the London Classical Choir YouTube page until the 14 December and donations to charity can be made via Londonclassicalchoir.com
