Tufnell Park is a hidden gem tucked between Kentish Town and Archway, with some of the best pubs in north London.
Local resident, Eliza Sinclair, takes us round her three favourite pubs in Tufnell Park showing why this area of London is not to be overlooked for its more well-known neighbours, Camden and Islington.
Starting off at The Tufnell Park Tavern, which is just a short walk from the tube station, the pub has two large beer gardens, something not often found in London and a great atmosphere.
The Prince Edward is the second place visited, where pints cost under £5 and regulars speak of its rustic charm, this pub was allegedly frequented by families on their way to visit inmates at Holloway Prison.
Finally, The Lord Stanley, which reopened in 2025 following a refurbishment is an elegant pub not to be missed, with a great food offering and independent breweries on tap.
