A fine artist has founded a free art school in a bid to make creative fields more accessible for young Londoners.
Emily Stanisavljevic, 25, founded Real Art School in 2025 with zero-funding or support.
Real Art School uses a holistic approach enabling participants to join a range of activities from art critic sessions to specialised art sessions, such as making community portraits.
Since founding the initiative, Camden Open Air Gallery has allowed the project to be hosted at the venue for free, making it an accessible hub for many aspiring creative minds in the city.
Stanisavljevic said: “The community here is incredible, honestly they are so so talented.
“I just think they deserve a lot more recognition and opportunities than they currently get.”
