The theme on this occasion was ‘Create’ — a wide topic but one which allowed the public to interact with scientists and artists on a multitude of activities, from hands-on experiences to expert-led talks.

Visitors could explore anything from clockmaking to facial reconstruction, all in a convivial atmosphere including a bar, DJ set and silent disco.

The Londoners spoke with exhibitors and visitors to obtain a sense of why they attended and what they hoped to get from the evening.
