Dry January is officially over and for many that means a long-awaited return to a glass of wine or a cold pint.
But with alcohol prices continuing to climb across the capital, north London residents are seeking alternative, cheaper dining options.
Angel’s renowned Chapel Market is home to a number of restaurants which allow customers to bring their own alcohol.
One stop is family-owned Italian restaurant Mangia Bene, where customers can bring their own wine to enjoy alongside a menu of familiar Italian dishes for a small corkage fee.
Another is the long-standing Indian Veg, a vegetarian Indian buffet which allows diners to bring their own alcohol without charging corkage and help themselves to a range of dishes inside.
