A giant bowling ball crash lands in Uxbridge to launch Hollywood Bowl

Uxbridge shoppers were stunned to see a giant bowling ball had crushed onto a car in front of The Chimes Shopping Centre to celebrate the opening of Hollywood Bowl on June 9.

The new centre boasts 22 ten-pin bowling lanes, US duckpin lanes, state-of-the-art amusements, and an Americana-style diner serving an array of burgers, shakes and drinks with the hope of bringing an American feel to Uxbridge.

Hollywood Bowl Uxbridge regional support manager Rachael Hayward said: “The area is crying out for exciting new places to spend quality time together, especially for families and friends looking for something fun and fresh. Hollywood Bowl is here to deliver exactly that.”

The centre has also announced grand opening offers including 20% off all party packages including celebration and team events until July 7.

The deals also include a ‘Family Fun Weekend’ from June 14 to June 15 with appearances from Bumper the Mascot, balloons, colouring, and stickers for strikes.
