There are road closures and disruptions reported to take place in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and in the City of Westminster.

Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea
The council have announced that roads from Kensington High Street South will not be accessible on Monday 19 September, the day of the Queen’s funeral.
Residents have been advised to avoid driving on this day as it will be difficult to travel in and out of the borough.
All roads are expected to be fully open by the evening or the following morning.
Cromwell Road and Queen’s Gate will be closed from 6am until later in the day.
Resident’s parking will be suspended on Queen’s Gate from Sunday 18 September until Monday 19th.
Brompton Road will also be closed until the afternoon. As a result of these restrictions, there is likely to be a lot more traffic in the area.
Additionally, on Monday 19 September there will be significant delays and disruptions to buses and their routes.
Companies conducting deliveries should instruct their employees to carry out their duties as considerately as possible in order to reduce the traffic on the roads.
All construction work is to be completed or to be temporarily halted before Sunday 18 September.
No work is to take place on the day of the funeral.
City of Westminster
It is expected that part of the A3212 and the entirety of Parliament Street will close for the Queen’s funeral procession. Parliament Square and part of Broad Sanctuary is expected to be pedestrian only.
The Mall, Constitution Hill and part of the A4 will be open exclusively to those on foot.
Although it has not yet been confirmed, it is likely that Horse Guards Road will be closed to vehicles due to the precedent set during the Queen Mother’s funeral in 2002.
