Ealing Hospital is set to break the national record for the number of successful robotic surgeries in a single quarter with its new laparoscopic robot.
Dr Hemant Sheth and his team perform an average of five surgeries per day with the new £1million device, slashing waiting lists and freeing up hospital beds.
They are now set to smash the quarterly target of 100 surgeries in just seven weeks at a rate which will only increase with time.
