Things to do in Harrow this summer

Harrow is filled with lots of different ways to keep yourself busy in the summer heat.

Whether you want a historical day out or a relaxed picnic in the park, the area has something for everyone.

Headstone Manor Museum 

Explore the history of Harrow by visiting the Headstone Manor Museum.

Juliet G on Tripadvisor has said: “Headstone Manor is a wonderful local resource in a beautiful place. The ancient Manor House is also home to changing art, history and cultural exhibitions. The café is great too.”

It is free to enter and is open Tuesday to Sunday.

2025 marks the diamond anniversary of the much-loved village fair hosted on the grounds.

Headstone Village Fair will be held on August 25 and will have live music, entertainment, family arts and crafts, storytelling sessions and much more.

Canons Park 

If you want a picnic or a place to lie out in the sun, Canons Park is the place to go.

On August 3, Canons Park will be buzzing with excitement for the annual Kids’ Fun Fair Day.

With entertainment for all ages, the day will be fun for the whole family.

Graham on TripAdvisor said: “A beautiful park and friendly safe area to walk around and through beautiful tranquil trees and a great walkway to Stanmore.”

Putt Crazy 

This Mayan-themed crazy golf bar and restaurant is full of with quirky obstacles and decor like Mayan drums, a feathered serpent, and pillars of fire.

Between their nine-hole courses and delicious selection of cocktails and food, it is a great spot to check out over a summery weekend.

AdamS on Tripadvisor has said “Putt crazy is an amazing child friendly mini golf bar and restaurant located in the centre of Harrow. Last weekend I went with my family to putt crazy and was amazed as to how friendly and welcoming the staff were. The prices at putt crazy are relatively cheap and are definitely worth your money.”
