The fourth round of the FA Cup qualifying stage is set to take place, with a multitude of London-based non-league teams looking to make it to the main tournament for this season.
The games will take place this Saturday, the 15th of October.
Hampton & Richmond Borough FC
Hampton & Richmond Borough will be playing away at Torquay United, seeking their fifth appearance in the competition proper.
The Beavers have had success in recent seasons, making it past this stage twice in the last four years, before getting knocked out by Oldham Athletic on both occasions.
They face Torquay for the first time in the FA Cup.
Last year’s FA Trophy winners, Bromley FC enter the competition with a home tie against Hereford, with the hopes of reaching the second round for the first time since 1938-39.
Having started the National League season well, the Ravens are fifth in the standings and seek to make a deeper run in the cup alongside their push for promotion into the Football League.
Dorking Wanderers FC
Newly promoted to the National League, Dorking Wanderers FC will host Eastleigh at the Meadowbank Stadium.
Currently faring mid-table in 15th, Marc White’ side look to make their first ever appearance in the first round, having made it to this stage last year but losing on penalties in a replay versus Hayes & Yeading United.
Beckenham Town FC vs Dagenham & Redbridge FC
D&R have fond memories of the FA Cup, with numerous runs past the first round during their time in League Two, with a fourth round appearance with Norwich City in 2002-03.
They have also made it to the third round multiple times, most recently having a trip to Goodison Park against Everton in 2015-16.
The Daggers should fancy themselves as favourites against Beckenham, who are three leagues below them in the Isthmian League South East Division.
Yet the FA Cup has a history of upsets and Beckenham, already on their best run of the cup after never making it past the second qualifying round before, will fancy their chances.
With seventh place in the Isthmian SE table and wins over the likes of Dartford and Binfield, Jason Huntley’s men would love another cup triumph at Eden Park Avenue.
Hendon FC, currently near the bottom of the Southern League Premier South, seek a first appearance in the main stages of the FA Cup since 2012-13.
They will host National League South side Chippenham Town, seeking revenge for their first and last FA Cup encounter in 2018-19, where Hendon lost 1-4.
Hornchurch FC look to add to their strong start to the Isthmian Premier League with an FA Cup victory at home against Oxford Town.
Yet to make the first round of the FA Cup since their name change in 2019, the Urchins hope to replicate the form that saw them win the FA Trophy two seasons ago.
A tough game is in store for Wealdstone FC, as they are on the road to face Boreham Wood FC who are currently third in the National League.
The two teams just faced each other in a league match, with a 2-1 loss for the ninth placed Stones at home, this past weekend.
Wealdstone will be hoping for revenge and a trip to the next round, having not made it beyond the fourth qualifying round since the 2015-16, where they lost to Colchester United.
Barnet FC await Weston-super-Mare AFC in their fourth qualifying clash at the Hive Stadium, in a maiden FA Cup encounter between the two sides.
Currently midtable in the National League, the FA Cup does hold dear memories for the Bees, with three trips to the fourth round since the start of the 21st century.
In their last appearance deep into the cup, Barnet had pushed current Premier League club Brentford FC to a replay fixture before falling in 2018-19.
